Whistles and self protection?

on Thu, 03/20/2014 - 18:15

Loud whistles have consistently filled the job of scaring people away, or alerting others to allow them to understand that you were in danger. The trouble with police whistles, nevertheless, is you have to have the ability to get it into your mouth to work with it, and you will need to continue to blow it till help arrives. Which may not regularly be possible? Your own alarm is far more dependable.

Another good thing about personal alarms is the pitch of the noise is really high that it also scares away dogs and wildlife.

Another Ninja Outfit For My Son

on Tue, 02/04/2014 - 02:06

I was not sure what to get my son for his birthday last month. But luckily I noticed he had been watching a lot of ninja turtles and nija movies.... like the ones from the mid 1980's with Michael Dudikoff. So I went online and found a place that sold ninja costumes - real ones not the fake costume ones. I went to realninjacostume.com. It didn't take long for me to get it and my son went bonkers for it. I got a picture of him in it the other day. This kid is so funny and enthusiastic about being a ninja:

Hopefully he doesn't get involved n that Anuime stuff. Those costumes can be expensive!

How To Become Great Like Bruce Lee

on Sat, 01/25/2014 - 21:59
To become a great martial artist!

I don't have sufficient knowledge of Kung fu or TKD to discuss those martial arts styles, but concur with the opinion that genuine fighting practical experience is essential.  I've got some kickboxing, I wrestled, coupled with a little bit of Jiu Jitsu.  The determining element in a street attack is just not martial technique like your kick and punches as it is so much as the desire to injure and also be injured.

Belts and Taekwondo and MooDukKwon

on Tue, 01/07/2014 - 18:55

Earning rank in Taekwondo can be easy and it can be hard, depending on where and who you train with. Many TKD orginizations have their own ranking criteria. I personally train in the moodukkwan: http://worldmoodukkwan.com/ and the testing is very strenuous. But if you train regularly then it should not too be bad. But do not expect the belts to just be handed out. But what is the ranking order? Here it is:

  • WHITE
  • YELLOW
  • GREEN
  • BLUE
  • BROWN
  • BLACK BELT

But what if you for some reason need another belt (you really should be taking care of your belt and not let it get soiled) then you have to go online

KungFu Is The Way To Go!

on Thu, 01/02/2014 - 21:27

I just started training in kung fu. I know it is the same stuff as Bruce Lee. However it is not the same style.

I am training in a style that is similar but different and loving every minute of it. LOL. I am getting more flexible too. It takes a while to get use to some of the moves but I am finding it to be easier each week. I am also doing a bit of grappling too since the teacher also teaches that along with the kung fu. He wants me to get a traditional uniform from this site: http://www.classickungfuuniforms.com/equipment/black-kung-fu-uniform/ . IF you are interested in stopping by the
